"The Boss" is ready to come back and the WWE's Women's division may get even deeper soon.

Sasha Banks has been sidelined with a concussion for the last couple of months, but she has returned to live events and even appeared on episodes of "Main Event," but she's been held out of major storylines.

The former NXT Women's Champion recently opened up about her concussion and revealed she is ready to return to the ring.

"The cool part about WWE is you never know what's going to happen," Banks told the Sun Herald while promoting this week's SmackDown in Mississippi. "It was a freak accident with the referee and I'm better and I've received the all-clear and I'm ready to go."

Banks sustained her head injury after accidentally colliding with the knee of a referee during a match at a WWE live event. It has been expected that she'll be the future face of the revamped Women's Division, but Vince McMahon has reportedly had his doubts about her -- which could be why she's barely been used despite being cleared to compete.

"The Boss" is rumored for a major run with the Women's Championship by SummerSlam in August, but it remains to be seen if the WWE will pull the trigger on a title run for her. Banks also spoke out against the term "Divas," proclaiming how glad she was for the company to be going with the Women's division banner.

"I am beyond grateful that I'm a part of history," Banks said. "I so badly wanted to be in the WWE but I didn't want to be be labeled a 'Diva.'"

Banks will hopefully return to the fold soon as the WWE prepares for its brand extension next month which will divide the roster into "RAW" and "SmackDown" brands.

There's no denying that Banks has a lot of supporters based on the rampant "We want Sasha chants" that are heard even when she isn't actively in the ring. Banks touched on her own personal experiences of reaching all different kinds of fans -- regardless of gender.

"I not only have received a lot of support from women, I also get it from men," she said. "The coolest thing is when a father and daughter come up to me and the dad says, 'Thanks so much for what you did because now I can watch wrestling with my daughter,' and the mom is happy about it, too, because my mom hated it when I watched wrestling growing up."
