Brock Lesnar has been married to Rena "Sable" Lesnar for nearly a decade and he recently shared an interesting story about his wife.
"The Beast" has been making his media rounds lately after coming to terms with the UFC to return for the first time since 2011 and fight at UFC 200 on July 9 in Las Vegas. Lesnar was granted permission to fight Mark Hunt by the WWE in a move that begins a cross-promotion between the two companies.
Lesnar appeared on ESPN's "Highly Questionable" to hype the fight and the topic of his wife came up. The hosts asked him what was the most romantic thing he ever did for Sable, the former WWE Diva.
The former WWE and UFC heavyweight champion told a story about when he took his wife on a tropical vacation when their son turned one and asked her to leave her wedding ring at home so that it didn't get stolen. Lesnar arranged the people in charge of watching their son to take the ring so that he could buy her a new band.
Lesnar hatched the plan as a way to buy a new ring for Sable, but revealed that his wife actually searched through their son's poop to try and find it, which came up empty. The UFC and WWE star revealed that he bought a new ring for his bride on their five-year wedding anniversary.
"When we got home, the story was all laid out. It was our five-year wedding anniversary and I wanted to get my wife a new wedding band," Lesnar told the show. "And my poor wife took it upon herself -- I shouldn't be telling this story -- to search for the wedding ring in dirty diapers. It's not so romantic, but it's funny."
Lesnar eventually said he issued his wife a brand new wedding band when they exchanged vows on theif five-year anniversary.
Paul Heyman's client retired from UFC in 2011 due to a bout with diverticulitis, but he's set to return to the company. After the fight, he'll be a huge part of WWE SummerSlam which emanates live from the Barclays Center in New York City on Aug. 21.
Sable was a top attraction in the WWE in the late 1990s and returned in the early 2000s, but she's since been retired from wrestling. Lesnar tied the knot with the blonde bombshell in May 2006.
