Marshawn Lynch retired from the NFL after this past season and he's sticking to it -- so says his cousin.

The Seahawks running back announced his retirement during the fourth quarter of the Super Bowl in February with a wordless tweet. Lynch posted a photo of his cleats hanging up with a peace sign emoji.

Lynch, who has never been open with the media, has had plenty of rumors surrounding his retirement as many people believe he'll return to the NFL.

'Beast Mode's" cousin, rapper Mistah F.A.B., quashed those rumors. F.A.B. revealed that there is no way Lynch wil return to the gridiron as his retirement is permanent.

"He's done. It's not fun to him no more," F.A.B. said on 'The Breakfast Club' via TMZ Sports.

F.A.B. told Charlamagne Tha God on the show that Lynch has saved up enough money and doesn't need to play football anymore. He added that he's putting his free time to good use, building schools and houses across the world.

Lynch, 30, won Super Bowl XLVIII with the Seahawks in 2014 and won back-to-back NFC championships with the club in 2013 and '14. The running back was also a five-time Pro Bowler throughout his 10-year career in Buffalo and Seattle.

In 127 career games, Lynch rushed for 9,112 yards on 2,144 attempts while scoring 74 touchdowns.

Russell Wilson and the Seahawks now face a future without Lynch and enter the 2016 season on the heels of a 10-6 season where they reached the playoffs for the fourth straight campaign.

"Honor playing with one of the best running backs of all time!" Wilson tweeted after Lynch announced his retirement. "Going to miss sharing the backfield with you 24... #BeastMode@MoneyLynch "
