With this spring's WWE WrestleMania pay-per-view emanating from New Orleans being a milestone 30th installment of the company's biggest event of the year, WWE officials have been talking backstage about different ways to make WrestleMania 30 unique.

Reports now indicate that WWE officials are mulling the possibility of doing a title-for-title match between the World Heavyweight Champion and the WWE Champion at the show.

Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that whoever the two champions are at the time the pay-per-view rolls around on April 6 could be gearing up to face one another in a high-profile unification match on the card. With the talks just in the early stages, it remains to be seen if the winner will carry around both belts or if the WWE will unify the titles like they have in the past.

While the unification is a possibility, the WWE has used two different titles since the days of the brand extension, and may keep both around so that they can build up more stars.

Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that the WWE decided to give the World Heavyweight Championship to John Cena at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view by having him win it from Alberto Del Rio because they felt that the title needed some prestige after being viewed as the No.2 title for years behind the WWE Championship. The move is indicative of the WWE's plan to do a title-for-title match as the company wants to build up the World Heavyweight Championship as a valuable title by putting it on Cena in order to give it prestige heading into WrestleMania season.

Cena recently said that the title he currently holds has been viewed as inferior and that it shouldn't be.

"This is not taken as a shot of disrespect to anyone who has held the title before me, but it's now viewed as a second-tier championship, Cena told NOLA.com. "[Defending it at WrestleMania 30) will truly put a stamp on making it the real deal. I want the WWE universe to realize that it's not a second-tier championship. It should be treated with as much respect as the WWE title."

Randy Orton is the current WWE Champion, but that could change by the time WrestleMania rolls around in April. If things stay the same and the WWE goes through with its plans, as it stands now Orton and Cena would faceoff at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans on April 6 with both titles on the line, however the championships could change hands before the event comes around.

Cena told NOLA.com that he fulfilled a dream of his by facing Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson at the last two installments of WrestleMania.

"I really got to live a dream the past few years having some big marquee matchups with Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson," he told the site. "And when you rub elbows with a guy like The Rock, you truly are in the company of the greatest of all-time. It was like watching a prize fight where everyone is just throwing haymakers. For us to be interactive over a 2 1/2 year span, it was pretty impressive, especially in this day and age. It was a dream scenario for me."

It is likely that Cena will carry the big gold belt into New Orleans with him as the WWE wants to build up the title, but it remains to be seen who will be standing across the ring from him as WWE Champion if the WWE goes through with the plan.
