The "Eater of Worlds" could be on his way back to the WWE.

Bray Wyatt has been off of WWE television since April with a calf injury, but it seems he's the next high-profile talent slated to return. John Cena (shoulder) and Seth Rollins (knee) were two other big name Superstars who recently returned after dealing with injuries.

The "New Face of Fear" is expected to return to the road with WWE this week, according to PWInsider Elite (via WrestlingInc.). It's unknown if he'll return to "RAW" or "SmackDown" next week, but he will at least begin traveling with the company again.

With one slot still open in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match, it's possible he fills the void. The WWE could also consider making him a babyface since the likes of Seth Rollins and AJ Styles are major heels, causing John Cena and Roman Reigns to represent as two of the most polarizing babyfaces in the company. The WWE appeared to be making Wyatt a face prior to his injury, but it remains to be seen where they'll go from here.

Here are four potential programs for Wyatt when he makes his comeback.

1) Brock Lesnar

It was rumored that the WWE would run with a feud between "The Beast" and Wyatt, but the WWE nixed the plans for WrestleMania as Lesnar faced Dean Ambrose and the "Eater of Worlds" was limited to just a run-in with The Rock and Cena. The WWE also advertised and balked on a bout between the two at Roadblock in March, likely as a way to preserve the clash for a bigger stage. Though Lesnar may not be back until August, he represents a great potential adversary for Wyatt down the line considering it would be a fresh feud and Wyatt's stature makes him a formidable foe for Paul Heyman's client.

2) The Miz

This isn't an ideal matchup on paper, but the WWE has never given Wyatt a title run. With U.S. Champion Rusev occupied with Titus O'Neil, Wyatt's only real other choice for a midcard belt would be the Intercontinental Championship. The Miz is off filming a movie, so it makes no sense for him to be holding one of the most important belts in the company. Wyatt could quickly knock him off and move on to feuds with other guys in the division such as Sami Zayn, Cesaro or Kevin Owens.

3) Roman Reigns

The WWE could hot shot Wyatt into the WWE World Heavyweight Championship picture once Reigns is through with his program with Rollins. These two have a deep history together from the days of The Wyatt Family vs. The Shield. It's no secret that Wyatt is very over with the WWE Universe and the company could course correct his shaky booking by putting him in the World Championship picture and making him a legitimate threat. Reigns dropping the title to Rollins may be best for business, but it's hard to see the WWE ending the leader of the Roman Empire's run so quickly at Money in the Bank.

4) Finn Balor

The former NXT Champion will likely be called up in time for next month's brand split as the WWE will need some talent to round out the rosters. Balor's NXT Championship loss to Samoa Joe at a live event was unexpected, but it's likely a sign that he'll get ready to come up to the main roster after his NXT Takeover: The End Steel Cage Match with Joe on June 8. Given the mystique surrounding both of their characters, Wyatt could be a great initial program for the Ireland native.
