John Cena goes above and beyond to keep the spark going in his relationship with Nikki Bella.

The "Cenation" leader and the "Total Divas" star have been together for nearly four years, and though they don't see eye-to-eye on everything, they still share a strong bond.

Cena recently opened up about how he keeps things fresh with Bella.

"It could be a card, could be flowers, an unplanned date, a kiss on the cheek; and you say, 'I know how hard you're working, and I care for you," Cena told Men's Health Magazine (via Wrestlingheadlines.com). "'I'm giving you the distance you need, but I'm here for you whenever you need me.'"

The 15-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion will appear alongside the longest-reigning WWE Divas Champion on the upcoming "Total Bellas" series in the fall.

The show will see Nikki's sister Brie and her husband, former WWE Superstar Daniel Bryan, move in with Cena and Nikki during her recovery from neck surgery. Cena and Bryan frequently appear on "Total Divas."

Cena returned to the WWE this past week on "Monday Night RAW" for the first time since suffering a serious shoulder injury, which he underwent surgery on in January. The face of the WWE was attacked by AJ Styles and The Club as the former NJPW stable turned heel and entered a program with the "Cenation" leader.

Bella, meanwhile, remains sidelined after going under the knife to repair a neck injury. It is expected she'll return later in the summer, but there are a lot of question marks surrounding her future as she may not make a full recovery.

Though Bella and Cena are very happy together as a couple, they do have different stances on marriage. Bella has been adamant about wanting to become Mrs. Cena and has shared her desire to have kids with the face of the WWE, while Cena has balked on marriage and children.

"I just have things I need to get done," Cena recently told Rolling Stone.. "It's not negotiable. We've been to therapy over it. I don't think it will ever be over with. I'm stubborn as f--k and extremely selfish as well. I don't want kids, I don't want marriage. That's me just saying, 'Hey, this is my life and this is how I'm going to live.'"
