The WWE is set to unofficially ring in the summer with a special Memorial Day edition of "Monday Night RAW" this week.
With less than three weeks until Money in the Bank on June 19, the WWE's flagship show emanates live from the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wisc.
Here are five key storylines and the latest rumors for this week's edition of "Monday Night RAW.'
1) Cena Returns
John Cena is set to return to what will be a very different WWE since the time he left. The import of AJ Styles and influx of NXT talent gives the "Cenation" leader plenty of possibilities for new feuds now that he's set to return four months earlier than expected. Shane McMahon is also back in the fold, and Cena recently discussed Shane-O Mac being partialy in control of "RAW."
"I was in the company of the 'never,' but I guess this goes to Vince McMahon's old adage, 'never say never,'" Cena told IGN of McMahon's return. "t's good to have Shane back. I think it's a renewed energy in not only the program but the audience, as well. Shane's been really proactive about showing a lot of new faces and I said for a long time that there's a bunch of talent that was in NXT and it's good to see them get their chance on 'WWE Monday night RAW.'"
2) Here Comes The Money
There is one more slot open in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on June 19, and it's likely that the final entrant will be determined on "RAW" this week. Thus far, Cesaro, Chris Jericho, Dean Ambrose, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn and Alberto Del Rio have advanced to the bout and all six Superstars will be looking to build momentum.
3) Reigns vs. Rollins
It was revealed last week on "RAW" that the returning Seth Rollins will get a crack at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship when he battles Roman Reigns at Money in the Bank. "The Architect" never lost the gold, but had to forfeit it due to injury. The next chapter in their rivalry is due to unfold this week on "RAW."
4) Splitting Up
This will be one of the final editions of "RAW" to feature all the talents on the main roster. The WWE revealed last week that it's bringing back the brand split as the Superstars will soon be divided into "RAW" and "SmackDown" brands. To view our mock draft, click here.
5) Midcard Madness
The titleholders all need some new feuds as United States Champion Rusev and Intercontinental Champion The Miz don't have roles determined for Money in the Bank just yet. The New Day also may move on from the Vaudevillians to a new Tag Team Championship program. It appears Women's Champion Charlotte will continue to feud with Natalya and now that Dana Brooke is in the fold, Becky Lynch may join the storyline.
