The face of the WWE is set to return to the flagship show.

John Cena will make his comeback from a shoulder injury on the Memorial Day edition of "Monday Night RAW" in what is the unofficial kickoff of summer. The "Cenation" leader went down with a shoulder injury, but he recovered four months quicker than expected.

Now, the 15-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion is set to come back to a very different roster given the influx of NXT talent and other outside imports.

Here are four possible roles for Cena upon his return.

1) Rusev Rivalry

Cena had an epic feud with Rusev last year, which led to the "Cenation" leader capturing the United States Championsip at WrestleMania 31 in March 2015. Now that Rusev is once again the U.S. Champion, Cena could return on the day America remembers and honors its veterans and try to wrest the title away from the "Bulgarian Brute." Rusev just recently defeated Kalisto for the gold at Extreme Rules on May 22, so he could be in the need of a new rival.

2) Triple Threat

With the WWE's ratings falling downard and the company in need of a jolt, it wouldn't be surprising to see Cena end up in the Roman Reigns-Seth Rollins feud. After all, Cena is still trying to tie Ric Flair with 16 World Championship reigns. The company could easily find a way to add Cena to the upcoming Reigns vs. Rollins match at Money in the Bank on June 21 to make it a Triple Threat.

3) Mr. Money In The Bank

In what seems like the most obvious choice, there is one slot open for the Money in the Bank Ladder Match and Cena just so happens to be returning. The face of the franchise could be put into a match and given a chance to earn the final spot in the Ladder Match where the winner is guaranteed a title shot within the next year. Cena has won the briefcase on one occasion, but lost when he attempted to cash it in.

4) Clash Of Styles

One other possibility for Cena would be to spark a feud with one of the new faces in AJ Styles. There have been reports that there are still big plans for "The Phenomenal One" despite his recent losing streak. The face of WWE vs. the former face of TNA is an intriguing storyline, and given Cena's penchant for putting on great matches during his U.S. open challenges, a fresh rivalry with Styles could be very entertaining.

What do you think John Cena's role will be upon his return on 'RAW?'
