Johnny Manziel has been off the wall for quite some time, but amid all the partying, he believes his family and friends are "with me."

The former quarterback's close friends were recently rebuffed when they tried to hold an intervention for him, while his own family members have expressed concern for his well-being. Still, the parties continue for Manziel and he said he has the support of his friends and family.

While it's obvious that those close to him want what's best for him, it's unlikely that any of them will support his constant binge drinking and reported rampant drug use.

Still, he doesn't seem too concerned.

The former Heisman Trophy winner has been on a partying binge through the last few months and after a long weekend in Las Vegas -- which included a fight -- the signal caller was spotted in New York City and said he believed his friends and family are fine with him.

"My friends and family are alright," Manziel told TMZ Sports. "They're with me."

Manziel was spotted in New York City in a club on Wednesday night and chugged a bottle of Champaign behind the DJ booth, according to TMZ.

The former Browns signal caller turned 23 in December, but his own father, Paul Manziel, said he feared his own son wouldn't reach age 24 the way he's going.

"I truly believe if they can't get him help, he won't live to see his 24th birthday," his father told The Dallas Morning News back in February.

Most recently, other sources close to the quarterback also shared the same fears.

"He's in a horrible downward spiral," a source close to the quarterback told TMZ Sports.

Another source added: "If he continues this way for much longer, he will die."

Last month, Manziel and his pals allegedly caused about $32,000 of damage to a home they rented in Los Angeles. He was also seen "wasted and chain smoking" at Coachella as he continues to struggle to stay away from the party scene

Manziel, who was recently indicted by a Dallas jury for an alleged physical altercation with his model ex-girlfriend Colleen Crowley, vowed to clean up his act to get back to the NFL.

Thus far, that vow has gone unfulfilled.
