It seems Danny Amendola is getting closer to Olivia Culpo than Tim Tebow ever did.

There were rumors that the Patriots receiver was seeing the 2012 Miss Universe and now it seems as though they are officially a couple. Tebow was reportedly quite taken by the beauty queen in the fall, but nothing ever materialized between them.

Amendola, meanwhile, has been publicly spotted out with Culpo and it seems like things could be getting more serious between the two.

The pair was seen at Lulu's Allston, a restaurant co-owned by Culpo's cousin, Joshua Culpo, and the receiver was in the center of a picture with the entire Culpo clan.

Culpo, who was infamously with Nick Jonas prior to splitting from the singer, was spotted at Coachella with Amendola in April, which furthered the rumors they are a couple. The bombshell clearly has a spell on men as Jonas' upcoming album was written about her, while Tebow was smitten with her back in November.

Late last year, multiple reports surfaced claiming the former NFL star and the beauty queen had a romantic spark and were quickly becoming an item. Sources also claimed that Tebow went above and beyond to share his affection for the beauty queen.

The speculation was followed up by rumors that Culpo kicked Tebow to the curb due to his religious beliefs keeping them from having sex. Tebow, a devout Christian, has publicly vowed to stay celibate until marriage.

It eventually came out that Tebow and Culpo weren't officially an item as all they did was hangout with each other in groups and the apparent budding romance between them never made it out of the rumor stage.

Tebow was then linked to Nina Dobrev, with whom he shared an undeniable chemistry on "Lip Sync Battle" back in February. Tebow later admitted he was single and looking for the right woman, which unfortunately for him wasn't Culpo.

The quarterback is also hoping to one day get back into the NFL after having stops with the Broncos, Jets, Patriots and, most recently, the Eagles, who cut him last September.

Tebow, 28, has a 47.9 completion percentage in 35 games (16 starts) in the NFL while throwing for 2,422 yards, 17 touchdowns and nine interceptions.
