At 1:00 p.m. the Dallas Cowboys (4-4) will try steer the conversation away from close losses and the antics of Dez Bryant on the sideline, and assume control of an NFC East division that is ripe for the taking. They'll face the Minnesota Vikings (1-6) in a game that can be live streamed here. Vikings fans can listen to the game on KFAN 100.3, while Cowboys fans can hear the action on 105.3 The Fan.

Dallas has spent this week explaining away the animated conversations Bryant had with Tony Romo, Jason Witten and members of the coaching staff during a gut punch of a loss to the Detroit Lions. Bryant claims he was not being negative on the sidelines, and refused to apologize for being competitive.

Head coach Jason Garrett had his back in the aftermath. "When you put your guts out there for three hours, collectively, sometimes it's hard to swallow those kinds of defeats," Garrett said. "What we need to do as a football team is learn from what just happened and find a way, in all three phases, to win this kind of game, and do what we need to do to win the game."

Minnesota's defense may be the elixir for Dallas' troubles. They've allowed opponents to pass all over them, as well as convert more than half their third downs.

You've got to look at how we're doing it, what we're doing schematically, and also the people that you're asking to do certain things," coach Leslie Frazier said. "Can they get it done? Do we need to be doing something different based on the people that we're asking to execute the defense?"

They also have not decided on whether Christian Ponder or Josh Freeman will take snaps. Dallas expects running back DeMarco Murray to be in the backfield after missing last week's game.
