At 1:00 p.m. Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers (4-3) will look to keep the good times rolling while further burying their NFC South rival Atlanta Falcons (2-5) when they square off at Bank of America Stadium in North Carolina. Watch the game on Fox or live stream it here. Falcons fans can listen to the game on 790 The Zone, while Panthers fans can hear the radio broadcast on WBT 1100 AM.

The Panthers' win last week put them over .500 for the first time since 2008, and Newton expects the Panthers to stay that way against Atlanta. "We just have to continue to keep meshing as a team, keep building off and keep getting momentum in these upcoming weeks because we are about to hit the meat of our schedule," Newton said. "We are going to need every single ounce of energy that we will have."

Their opponent this week is without its top wide receiver (Julio Jones) its 1A receiver (Roddy White) and increased attention to tight end Tony Gonzalez. Making matters worse, the Panthers have been one of the league's most ferocious defenses this year.

"We feel like we are headed toward (being) a serious playoff defense," Panthers defensive end Greg Hardy said. "I feel like we're playing up to our potential, but there is so much potential in the room. We're not even close."

Running back Steven Jackson appears to be fully operational this week, and head coach Mike Smith is hoping his return restores normalcy to an Atlanta offense that passed 61 times last week. "We haven't been consistent in anything we've done in seven games," Smith said. "That's the entire football team, the entire coaching staff, and we all take responsibility for it."
