Russell Wilson and Ciara have been dealing with a lot of drama outside of their relationship, but all seems to be going well between the couple.

The "Dance Like We're Making Love" singer has been embroiled in a legal battle with her former fiance, Future, with whom she has a child, Baby Future. Though there was speculation that the issues between Future and Ciara have spilled into her relationship with Wilson, that doesn't seem to be the case.

When attending the 2016 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday, all Ciara could do was gush about Wilson and the social media posts he shares about his bride-bo-be and her son.

I love my baby," Ciara told E! News on Sunday about Wilson. "He's always capturing cool moments."

One of those moments included Wilson's long-awaited proposal, which the couple announced in March. Ciara and Wilson have taken a vow of celibacy until marriage and have been together since early 2015, so it seemed inevitable they were inching closer to marriage.

Despite their happiness, there is some outside turmoil due to Ciara's sordid history with Future.

The R&B singer was very agitated after Future called her "washed up" in comments she claims only were made as a way for him to trash her due to being "tormented" by her success and relationship.

Ciara and Future also don't see eye-to-eye over Wilson having a great relationship with Baby Future, as the rapper has been very clear he doesn't like it. The problems between the parties grew so large that Ciara recently filed to gain sole custody over the child, but it was denied by a judge in court last week.

There were rumors that Ciara had taken her issues out on Wilson, but it seems all is fine between them.

"She's equally mad that Russell's not stepping up and publicly defending her," a source told HollywoodLife.com last month. "She's making crazy demands, telling Russell she wants to be on the cover of as many magazines as possible leading up to the wedding so she can show Future she's still A-List."

Despite all the outside distractions, Wilson and Ciara are going strong.
