Tim Tebow was once on top of the world in Denver, but after his time with the Broncos came to an end, he was heartbroken.

The former Heisman Trophy winner carried the Broncos to a thrilling and shocking overtime victory against the Steelers in the Wild Card playoffs in 2012. He was then traded to the Jets with whom he played his last NFL game to date.

Though he had stints with the Patriots and Eagles, he was cut by both teams prior to the regular season starting.

Philadelphia most recently cut Tebow last September and he's yet to find an NFL job. In his new book, "Shaken," the former NFL quarterback delves into the highs and lows of his career -- including his sadness to leave Denver -- while also discussing his faith.

"So excited about my new book SHAKEN: DISCOVERING YOUR IDENTITY IN THE MIDST OF LIFE'S STORMS," Tebow wrote in a Facebook post. "This book not only includes stories from my life, but it also features stories of people and events that have inspired me along the way! My goal for this project is that you are encouraged and you walk away equipped for both the highs and lows in life."

Tebow will share one specific low as he discusses how hard it was for him to leave Denver, according to UPI. The book will give readers a deeper look into the former first-round draft pick.

"In Shaken he explains why neither the highs nor the lows of his life can define him-and he reveals how you, too, can find confidence in your identity and know who you are," the book's description reads on WaterbrookMultnomah.com. "In revealing passages, Tebow pulls back the curtain on his life, sharing the vulnerable moments of his career that have shaken him to his core-while also teaching the biblical principles that will enable you to keep the faith, no matter what comes your way."

Since his on-field career has come to an end, Tebow has been plenty busy. On top of being a newly-minted author, the former signal caller serves as an analyst on SEC Nation and is busy trying to find his soul mate in his personal life.

Tebow clearly misses Denver and judging by a petition on Change.org that received plenty of signatures, some Broncos fans miss Tebow Time as well.

"Coach Gary Kubiak's offense would thrive with Tebow under center," the petition reads. "He and the legendary John Elway can make this happen. We dont need a subpar throwaway from some other team, we need an original Bronco who has the fire, desire, and love of the game to play as a Bronco again! As a bonus the Bronco fans would be ecstatic! He just wins, we all know this! #TebowTime"

Tebow, 28, has a 47.9 completion percentage in 35 games (16 starts) in the NFL while throwing for 2,422 yards, 17 touchdowns and nine interceptions.
