John Cena is all amped up for his return.

The "Cenation" leader revealed last month that he'll make his comeback to WWE "Monday Night RAW" on the Memorial Day edition of the company's flagship show to ring in the summer in style.

Cena, who is known as a quick healer, took just five months to recover from a shoulder injury and will be back four months earlier than anticipated.

Cena hasn't been actively involved in on-screen storylines since the fall, though he did have a brief run-in at WrestleMania 32 to help The Rock thwart off an attack from The Wyatt Family. On Monday, Cena revealed how badly he's itching to get back in the squared circle.

"I can only count to five, so I figured five months will do it for me," Cena joked in an appearance on 'The Today Show.' "I was ready [to return] last month. I made a sneak appearance in WrestleMania in April, and I'm ready to go. I've been away for too long. I filmed 'American Grit' a few months during the fall and then came out for five months from shoulder surgery. I've basically been away from the ring for seven months. I'm ready to get back on Memorial Day."

The 15-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion also delved into how he was able to put the work in to recovery so quickly and went into promo mode to hype his upcoming appearance.

"It's just a lot of physical therapy," Cena said. "Normally, they think people go to physical therapy three times a week, I was going up to three times a day. So it's just a matter of doing the work. The doctors and surgeons all agree that I'm ready to go. It's gonna be mayhem! It's gonna be awesome! 'Monday Night RAW' on Memorial Day, tune in or pay the price!"

Cena, who is dating WWE women's wrestler Nikki Bella, underwent shoulder surgery in January. The "Cenation" leader announced he'll be back in action for Memorial Day on Twitter earlier this month and has plenty of options and fresh faces to feud with upon returning.
