All appears to be well between quarterback Sam Bradford and the Eagles.

After a two-week absence following a trade request, the signal caller returned to practice on Monday and sounded ready to put the drama between himself and the team behind him.

"I'm excited to be back on the field today with my teammates and coaches," Bradford said in a statement, according to ESPN. "The business-side of football is sometimes a necessary consideration. My attention and efforts are focused on the participation in and preparation for a championship season. I am committed to my teammates and the Eagles organization for nothing less."

The impasse between the Eagles and Bradford began when they traded up in the NFL Draft with the intentions of landing a quarterback. Philadelphia selected Carson Wentz out of North Dakota State with its second overall pick.

The Eagles landed the No. 2 overall pick along with a compensatory selection from the Browns in exchange for their first-rounder (8th), third-rounder (77th) and fourth-rounder (100th) in this year's draft along with their first-round selection in the 2017 NFL Draft and second-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Wentz's selection came less than two months after the Eagles signed Bradford to a two-year, $35 million extension. With the trade at the draft being an indication that Bradford wasn't in the team's long-term plans, he asked to be traded out of Philadelphia.

All of the controversy came to an end on Monday when Bradford showed up and his presence was tweeted out by the team:

Terrell Owens ripped on Bradford for demanding a trade in an interview last week.

"I think it was not a great move for Sam to want to request a trade being that they were getting a [No. 2] pick," Owens told TMZ Sports. "If it were me ... that's kind of a sign of a coward, to be honest."

Bradford, 28, played in 14 games last season and owned a 65 percent completion rate while throwing for 3,725 yards with 19 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. It was originally expected that the signal caller would hold out until minicamp in June, but he opted to end his boycott.

The Eagles have committed to Bradford starting under center in 2016.
