Jimmy Butler may be bouncing back nicely from the stinging disappointment of not making the playoffs.

The Bulls forward was spotted out and about in Los Angeles on a lunch date with a potential new flame.

The two-time All-Star was dining with "Pretty Little Liars" star Shay Mitchell, according to TMZ Sports. The two appeared to be having a lot of fun together and sources close to the publication state it isn't just a one-time deal as they've recently started dating, but have kept everything private.

"[I'm in L.A.] for the sunny weather," Butler told TMZ. "I'm out here enjoying lunch, man. It's a good day for lunch."

When spotted out to lunch and then dinner Saturday night with Mitchell, Butler had no comment on the subject other than to say, "Stay out of my business" with a smile.

He also addressed rumors he may want to play for one of the Los Angeles-based teams, but he made it clear he wants to remain a Bull.

Butler, 26, was selected with the 30th overall pick by Chicago in the 2011 NBA Draft and has spent five seasons with the Bulls. The two-time All-Star averaged 20.9 points and 5.2 rebounds per game in the regular season and has averaged 13.6 points per contest throughout his career.

On the court, the Bulls finished 42-40 and in ninth place in the Eastern Conference, missing out on a playoff berth. It snapped a streak of seven straight years of postseason appearances for Chicago.

Mitchell, 29, is an actress, model and author, known mostly for "Pretty Little Liars," on which she has played Emily since 2010.

The actress is very active on Instagram and here are some of her best snaps:
