John Cena and Nikki Bella may have some stiff competition for the hottest couple on "Total Divas."
Maryse is set to join the cast for Season 6, which means her husband, WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz, will also be a part of the show. The blonde bombshell recently opened up about joining the cast and what went into her decision to come back into the WWE realm to be a part of it.
"First of all, I was asked and I couldn't say no," Maryse said in a WWE video about joining the cast. "Well, actually, I thought a little bit about it, but when I really, really thought about it, I said, 'Guess what? We're doing it.'"
Maryse's impending debut on the show coincides with her return to WWE television where she stands in the corner of The Miz. The valet also threw some shade at the other couples on the WWE's reality show, saying she and The Miz will steal the show, while also offering glimpses into their personal lives.
"Let's face it, I don't really let people inside my home, inside my house, inside of my relationship [and] inside of my marriage," Maryse said. "So this is going to be really interesting. It's gonna be fun, trust me. It's going to be phenomenal, it's going to be freakin' awesome. I'm married to The Miz, obviously everyone knows that, and it's going to be really interesting because The Miz and I are the it couple in WWE and now, we are going be the it couple of reality TV."
That means Cena and Bella, two of the most well-known personalities in the WWE, may have to step aside.
There is a major shakeup coming to "Total Divas" as former "Tough Enough" competitor Mandy Rose, who joined the cast for Season 5, is expected to depart before next season airs. Alicia Fox and Rosa Mendes will also not be a part of the main cast going forward.
Other women set to make their debut appearances on the show include Lana, who recently had her in-ring debut, and Renee Young, who dropped some interesting details about how her boyfriend Dean Ambrose reacted to the cameras following him around. Naomi is also set to return to the show this coming season after skipping Season 5.
Maryse, 33, made her WWE debut in 2006 and remained with the company through 2011 before departing. Though her husband, whom she wed in 2014, stayed with the company, Maryse stayed out of it until returning earlier this month.
Upon her return, Miz captured the Intercontinental Championship.
