One of the most highly-anticipated storylines this NBA offseason will be the future of Kevin Durant.

The Thunder point guard may be entrenched in the postseason right now, but his free agency has left his future in Oklahoma City a question mark. There have been plenty of rumors he could go to another Western Conference powerhouse.

One person who certainly has a vested interest in where Durant goes is his mother, Wanda Pratt. Though she wouldn't entirely take the bait, she recently addressed Durant's future.

"I want him to play wherever he's happiest, how about that?" Pratt said when approached by TMZ Sports. "Anywhere he's happiest."

Sure it wasn't a straight answer, but with Mother's Day coming this Sunday, it's nice to see the bond Durant shares with Pratt. The Thunder forward's mother also said he'll have surprises for her Sunday and the best Mother's Day gift she had was the "day he was born."

Pratt, who said she's the MVP of the NBA season, is set to have a Lifetime movie made about her with the working title "The Real MVP: The Wanda Pratt Story," according to Deadline.com.

Durant, 27, has spent his entire nine-year career with the Thunder after being drafted in the second round by them back when they were the SuperSonics based in Seattle.

He has averaged 27.4 points, 6.7 rebounds and 3.5 assists throughout his career. The Thunder is locked in a 1-1 tie with the Spurs in their second-round series after a 98-97 thriller victory for Oklahoma City on Monday.

The seven-time All-Star and 2014 NBA MVP has been linked to such teams as the Warriors, but Magic Johnson recently pitched for Durant to join the Lakers.

It remains to be seen where Durant lands, but his mother just wants to see him happy.
