The Islanders look to take complete control of their Round 2 series, while the Lightning try to tie things up when these teams take the ice for Game 2 live from the Amalie Arena in Tampa Bay for matinee action Saturday afternoon.

New York is looking to take a 2-0 series lead before the series shifts to Barclays Center in Brooklyn for the first time, while Tampa Bay hopes to force a split before going on the road.

The Islanders overcame the Lightning in Game 1 with a 5-3 victory.

After Ondrej Palat opened up the scoring with his second goal of the playoffs, the Islanders found the back of the net for four unanswered tallies, including two from Shane Prince, and a goal apiece from Travis Hamonic (1) and John Tavares (6).

Fresh off of scoring the game-tying and winning (double overtime) goals in the series clincher against the Panthers last round, New York's captain is tied for the league lead in playoff goals.

The Lightning attempted to mount a comeback as Nikita Kucherov answered with his sixth marker of the postseason and Valterri Filppula (1) lit the lamp with less than three minutes remaining in regulation, but Cal Clutterbuck's first goal of the playoffs into an empty net sealed New York's win.

Lightning goalie Ben Bishop had a nightmarish start to the series, yielding four goals on 13 shots before being lifted for Andrei Vasilevskiy, who stopped all eight shots he faced. Thomas Greiss continued his string of solid playoff performances in the Islanders crease, making 33 saves on 36 shots.
