Sasha Banks is getting a lot of praise heaped on her by some very important people lately.
WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart is the latest big-name wrestler to point to "The Boss" as one of the best women's wrestlers in the game.
Banks helped change the landscape of women's wrestling in NXT and stole the show along with reigning Women's Champion Charlotte and Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 32 on April 3.
The "Excellence of Execution" recently praised Banks and NXT wrestler Bayley, who may have received an injury at the NXT tapings on Wednesday.
"Sasha Banks is a real innovator, different stuff to her matches," Hart told Total Wrestling Magazine. "Bayley is great too, some of those women are much better than the ones on 'RAW' at the moment. I have a lot of respect for women's wrestling, it's hard being a women's wrestler in WWE, they don't get enough credit."
Hart will delve into women's wrestling this Sunday when he stands in the corner of his niece Natalya as she takes on Charlotte, who will be flanked by her father Ric Flair, for the Women's Championship at Payback.
Never shy about speaking his mind, Hart said he's not truly into being in the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Ill., on Sunday.
"I do it to honor Nattie, I no desire to be there no desire to be on TV," he said. "I'm happy to be there for Nattie but I've just had wrist surgery so it's not a great time. It'll be great to put Flair in the sharpshooter though."
Banks won't be featured on the card and though it seemed inevitable, her crowning moment on the WWE's main roster didn't happen at WrestleMania. It's likely Banks' moment in the sun will occur at SummerSlam in August.
Hart is just the latest Hall of Famer to share his acclaim for Banks as "Stone Cold" Steve Austin also showed his admiration for her while scolding WWE creative for not keeping her a top priority.
"Today, she has lost some momentum," Austin said about Banks, according to Wrestling Inc, "and she's one of my favorites, so they need to light her ass back up."
Banks has been lighting it up in spite of her booking, and though she won't appear at Payback, several top names have taken notice.
