It's safe to say Bret "Hitman" Hart isn't buying into the Triple H hype.

The WWE Hall of Famer has always seemed to harbor ill will toward "The Game," and that doesn't seem to be changing anytime soon. Triple H has received a lot of praise for his work with the NXT brand, but Hart isn't buying it.

It's become apparent that Triple H and his wife Stephanie McMahon will be the ones to take over and run the WWE on the day that Vince McMahon steps down. While the NXT brand could be a sign that the company is in good hands going forward, the "Excellence of Execution" remains skeptical.

"I'm always happy to be proven wrong, but I've never seen any real genius come from Triple H yet," Hart told Notts TV News (via WrestlingInc). "I sound like I'm always knocking him, but it seems like he's quick to push the great wrestling to the side and push the bodies, guys who have [good] physiques, all the time. They wonder why CM Punk quit and they wonder why Daniel Bryan got hurt. It's because they squeeze so much out of those guys. I'm just calling it the way it is. Triple H is a former bodybuilder. He's all about bodies."

Punk walked out on the WWE in January 2014 due to frustration over the way he was being used and also because he claimed he was constantly asked to work hurt. He eventually signed with UFC, but is awaiting his debut.

Daniel Bryan retired in February due to a battle with concussions and had to overcome a lot of adversity just to get over in the WWE.

Hart, who has seemed to hate Triple H ever since the Montreal Screwjob in 1997, also ripped on WrestleMania 32, but praised NXT -- which Triple H has a huge hand in.

"He thought that Hulk Hogan was the greatest wrestler in the world," Hart said. "They think Ultimate Warrior was the greatest wrestler in the world because that's what they're attracted to, but he's not really a wrestling fan like I grew up. I was a wrestling fan. I had wrestling in my blood. All the way through, I was a wrestling fan. I loved great wrestling.

"Like this year's WrestleMania, there was no great wrestling on the card. All the great wrestling was two days before in the NXT [TakeOver: Dallas] show with [Shinsuke] Nakamura and Sami Zayn and [Asuka and] Bayley. That's what WrestleMania is all about. This year at WrestleMania, I thought it was absent on the bill. There was no wrestling on the card."

Hart has a point as there was really no standout Match of the Night candidate at the "Show of Shows" this year and it certainly wasn't as memorable as the previous two installments.

It seems things may be awkward when Hart, who is never shy about speaking his mind, appears at WWE Payback this Sunday night.
