It appeared as though Sasha Banks was set to have her crowning moment at WrestleMania 32, but it never happened.

"The Boss" was thrust into a Triple Threat Match against current Women's Champion Charlotte and Becky Lynch. Everyone under the sun thought it was logical that the former NXT Women's Champion, who is easily one of the most popular women on the roster, would walk out of AT&T Stadium in Dallas with the gold.

Banks didn't get her moment, as Ric Flair held her outside while his daughter Charlotte made Lynch tap out. Now, Charlotte is engaged in a feud with Natalya, while Banks and Lynch have been placed on the sidelines when it comes to contending for the richest prize in the newly revamped women's division.

The current plan is for Natalya to challenge Charlotte at Payback on May 1 at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Ill. and then to battle her again at Extreme Rules, which emanates from the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. on May 22.

Banks' big moment, meanwhile, is expected to be saved for SummerSlam on Aug. 21 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, according to Wrestlingheadlines.com.

While it's questionable that the WWE didn't put the belt on Banks at the "Show of Shows," it at least shows they have some long-term booking ideas for the women's division. "The Boss" can build herself up through the ranks over the next few months, while Charlotte stays on top as champion, setting the stage for a showdown at SummerSlam.

For years now, SummerSlam has been the WrestleMania of the summer, so even though it's not quite the marquee event, it's still a fitting place for Banks to have her moment.

The fact that the event takes place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn is also a big deal. Banks and Bayley put on one of the greatest matches of 2015 on the eve of SummerSlam 2015 at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn last August in that very same arena.

It will be a nice touch for the WWE to have Banks reach her greatest height in the women's division at the very place she put herself on the map a year prior.

"The Boss" will have her moment, but for now it has to wait.
