Nike will pay tribute to Los Angeles Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant once again with the release of a new colorway of his latest signature shoe. This time, the Kobe 11 will come out in a colorway related to Lower Merion High School.

Before jumping to the big league straight from high school and becoming one of the greatest NBA players in history, Bryant took the country by storm with his highlight plays during his days with the Lower Merion High School in Philadelphia.

To honor Bryant's high school alma mater, Nike will release the Kobe 11 in "Lower Merion Aces" edition, which is officially listed as the Cool Grey/Wolf Grey/Team Red colorway of the signature shoe, Nike.com noted.

The Kobe 11 "Lower Merion Aces" edition cool grey-based upper part, featuring an Engineered Mesh materials instead of the traditional Flyknit, Kicks on Fire revealed. This edition also sports a team red Nike Swoosh logo on the side panel.

This colorway also features grey laces and tongue along with team red lace eyelets and mamba logo on the tongue. Inside the shoe is a grey insole with grey mamba and aces logos.

Lower Merion High School Aces' logo also appears on the back heel area of one of the sneakers, while the other one has the iconic four red lines, symbolizing Bryant's sutures when he underwent surgery to repair a torn Achilles tendon in 2013. The shoe was finished off with an all-grey midsole and outsole.

The Kobe 11 "Lower Merion Aces" will be released on April 9, starting 10 a.m. ET. Fans can get their own pair of this tribute colorway for $160 per pair on SNKRS. Nike also revealed that related items -- socks, t-shirts and cap -- will be available on Nike.com. Photos of the related items can be seen below.
