The major shakeup of "Total Divas" could have some ramifications on Dean Ambrose.

Renee Young, who is dating "The Lunatic Fringe," is reportedly set to join the cast of the WWE reality show next season. As seen in the past, significant others of the ladies always seem to appear on the show as well.

Young is expected to join the cast for the first time along with Lana and the recently returned Maryse, according to WrestlingInc.com, while Naomi (known on the show as Trinity) is expected to return after sitting out Season 5.

In other changes, it appears former "Tough Enough" contestant Mandy, who just joined the show this season, Rosa Mendes and Alicia Fox will be departing the cast.

While it's nice to see the WWE find other uses for Young aside from on-screen host and backstage interviewer, hopefully it doesn't mean Ambrose will be featured as well. After the Bella Twins became the stars of the show, Brie's husband Daniel Bryan and Nikki's boyfriend John Cena became key parts of it.

Whenever one of the ladies enters the fold, their significant others usually follow. It's hard to see Ambrose featured on the show, but sometimes it's out of his control.

The "Lunatic Fringe" has an amazing on-screen character, but his gimmick as a loner who doesn't care about anything would be ruined if he were to be featured on "Total Divas."

His character appears true to life as unlike everyone else in the WWE, Ambrose doesn't even use social media. The WWE Superstar has only tweeted three times in his life, with his last Twitter use being a re-tweet back on Mar. 23, 2012.

Ambrose only started using the social media site because, as he put in his Twitter bio, "they made me." Well, if they make him go on "Total Divas," he may not have a say in the proceedings either.

Hopefully, the WWE is smart enough to preserve Ambrose's character by keeping him off the small screen on "Total Divas." That doesn't mean Young won't have a shot to utilize her exposure on the reality show as a catapult to an in-ring career.

"I'd definitely be open to the idea of doing a storyline in some capacity," Young told the Miami Herald last week while hyping WrestleMania 32." I think it would be so fun to jump in there and do something like that. If that opportunity came along, I would go with it, but I think WWE has other things in mind for me."
