Judging from Iggy Azalea's Twitter account, she has forgiven Nick Young.

So why exactly has Los Angeles Lakers coach Byron Scott deactivated Swaggy P?

The Australian rapper has been active on Twitter, acknowledging Young's infidelity. But she also has indicated that they are not breaking up and took exception to a New York Post story with the headline, "Iggy Azalea mess destroying Nick Young's basketball career."

Azalea also responded to one of her followers, saying "lol, errrrr.... nick and I are good babe."

Iggy Azalea Wears Engagement Ring In Statement About Relationship With Nick Young

A day earlier, Scott said he had benched Young because of the incident with D'Angelo Russell, whose video recording of Young saying he hooked up with a 19-year-old at a club. The video made its way onto social media, and Young has been devastated, according to the Lakers coach.

"It has nothing to do with the chemistry," Scott said at practice Monday, according to ESPN. "It has everything to do with just basketball. Right now, I know what he's going through, and I know it's hard on him. But he's not here with us, mentally, and there's no need for me to put him out there on the floor."

Sure, Young might be in the doghouse with Azalea, but between her tweets and showing up at Sunday's iHeart Radio Music Awards still wearing her engagement ring, it's safe to say their relationship is going to survive this particular infidelity.

So Young's relationship issues shouldn't be, well, an issue with the Lakers.

He did not play in Monday night's game against the Clippers. The strained relationship with Russell still could be an issue, but the Lakers aren't about to sit Russell. He has to earn back the trust of his other teammates and he remains the franchise's future.

If Young still is pouting, it has to be because of Russell, and the Lakers catering to Young's pouting is symptomatic of the larger issues plaguing the franchise.
