In a non-at-all shocking development, Ronda Rousey remains mum about her return to the UFC, so Dana White is doing her talking for her.

The UFC president said Rousey has indicated a preference to return in 2016 to TMZ Sports via Fox Sports.

Passing on "Cyborg" Justino Could Be Detriment To Holly Holm's Career

"I just had dinner with her the other night. She's in a great place mentally, physically, emotionally - every way you can be good, she's good," White told TMZ this week. "She's talking about coming back at the end of this year.

"She'll either come back in November or December."

Holly Holm Comments Reveal Why Dana White Is Bad For UFC

White has tentatively scheduled a fight between Rousey and current UFC champion Miesha Tate in November - a year after Rousey's shocking second-round knockout at the hands of Holly Holm at UFC 193.

Tate took the belt from Holm last month at UFC 196 in Las Vegas in a fifth-round choke-out.

Rousey had planned to take time off after the fight with Holm, regardless. She was to start shooting a pair of movies - a remake of the Patrick Swayze bouncer movie "Roadhouse" and a project with Mark Wahlberg titled "Mile 22" - but she has yet to do anything on either movie, Fox Sports reported.

The start of "Roadhouse" has been pushed back to at least May, and Rousey may be waiting to sign a contract until she knows for sure.

But until Rousey declares her intentions herself, her UFC career remains in doubt. White, who has been projecting his intentions onto Rousey ever since Rousey lost to Holm, could be guilty of doing that again now.

Tate has said she would like to fight again before the rematch against Rousey and was open to the possibility of fighting Cris "Cyborg" Justino, but Justino instead is signed to fight Leslie Smith at UFC 198.

Holm turned down a fight with Cyborg in hopes of getting the rematch with Tate, but Tate has said she doesn't necessarily believe she owes Holm a rematch.

It would seem logical for White to push for a rematch against Holm because a Holm-Rousey rematch still would generate a major pay-per-view audience. But White has belittled Holm for not waiting for Rousey herself and fighting Tate instead.

White also has demonstrated considerable animosity for Holm's manager, Lenny Frequez, which could end up costing Holm, at least in the short term.

But all the speculation still is moot until Ronda, not White, states her intentions.
