It's hard to look too far ahead with WrestleMania 32 airing this weekend, but the WWE needs to start planning a certain dream match.

It was always expected that once Sting came into the fold, he'd inevitably battle The Undertaker. After "The Vigilante" signed with the WWE and made his first appearance in November 2014, the WWE had a chance to put the dream match on.

Instead, The Undertaker defeated Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 31 last year in California, while Sting fell to Triple H. "The Demon from Death Valley" then continued his rivalry with Brock Lesnar into the fall, while the former WCW and TNA icon disappeared until returning to strike up a rivalry with Seth Rollins in September.

Sting was injured during his clash with "The Architect" at Night of Champions for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, placing his career in jeopardy. Though the former WCW World Heavyweight Champion's future is in doubt, he hasn't given up his dream of wrestling The Undertaker and seems hell-bent on making a recovery in order to do so.

"It's just talk, that's all it is," Sting told 'Good Day Fox 4,' about retirement according to WrestlingInc. "Everybody is talking except for me. TMZ and a lot of people are saying that. I'm undecided. I have a dream match that I want with the Undertaker. If I have my way, it's going to happen."

It should happen. It's up to the WWE to make this dream match a reality, say at WrestleMania 33. This year's event would have been the perfect place due to both men residing in Texas, but the stars didn't align. Next year, this match could easily sell out the Citrus Bowl in Orlando.

Sting, who enters the WWE Hall of Fame on Saturday, knows he's not the only one who wants to see the match, it's just up to the WWE to make it happen.

"It started with the fans," he said. "I was always the WCW guy and he was always the WWE guy. Now I'm the WWE guy, and it's merged and wrestling fans have always wanted to see that."
