LeBron James Discusses His NBA Standing, Warns Rivals He's ready For Challenges [VIDEO]

LeBron James is warning all his would-be rivals that he is ready to cement his legacy as an all-time great, despite stiffened competition around the league.

"Beas talks about it all the time," James told Bleacher Report of teammate Michael Beasley. "He talks about how when I was in high school, he remembered watching me when he was in grade school. Yeah, man, me being in my late 20s now, definitely a lot of guys come in saying 'Man, I remember you as a rookie and I was in elementary school."

Even while admitting "it's a new era," James is convinced he and his mates will more than be up to the challenge.

"It makes me feel good," the man who was featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated as "The Chosen One "told BleacherReport of all the young guys who now see him as the league's gold standard. "It doesn't make me feel old."

And yet, James seems more consumed by thoughts of his legacy now than ever before. He recently told reporters he's more driven by the thought of "being the greatest player of all time" than ever. And with the Heat poised to become just the third team over the last two decades to earn a NBA three-peat, James assured "we will be ready."
