The WWE Universe doesn't know if anyone will ever be next for Bill Goldberg, as it's unknown if he'll ever return to the squared circle.
The former WCW and WWE World Heavyweight Champion hasn't been given an offer from the WWE that he likes, which has kept him out of Vince McMahon's company. That doesn't mean he's not paying attention.
One of the main events this Sunday at WrestleMania 32 at AT&T Stadium in Texas will see Shane McMahon battle The Undertaker inside Hell in a Cell.
If Shane-O Mac wins, he controls "RAW," while if Undertaker loses, he'll never compete at WrestleMania again.
Goldberg commented on McMahon being trained by MMA and Jiu-Jitsu expert Renzo Gracie for his match with the "Demon from Death Valley":
Shane may actually have a shot if ur training him...RT @RenzoGracieBJJ: @Goldberg @FamousBouncers @shanemcmahonBill Goldberg (@Goldberg) March 30, 2016
Though Goldberg may not be returning to the WWE for the "Show of Shows" this year, at least he knows what's going on. The former master of the 173-0 streak in WCW almost returned for WrestleMania XXX in 2014, but negotiations fell through.
There are still plenty of fans who want to see him return, especially for one more WrestleMania bout. His only clash at the WWE's marquee event to date is his much-maligned contest against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania XX in 2004.
Unless there's a surprise in store, it's doubtful Goldberg will appear this Sunday when McMahon and The Undertaker do battle inside Hell in a Cell.
Still, anything can happen in the WWE.
