As it turns out, there's more to the Lamar Odom drinking binge than meets the eye.

The two-time NBA champion was spotted with two unidentified friends drinking at an irish pub in California in the early morning hours of Easter Sunday.

Odom had three drinks and left the establishment at 1 a.m., hours before attending mass with wife Khloe Kardashian and her family.

As it turns out, Odom's drinking is more than just casual and Kardashian wants him to get help now, according to TMZ. Sources close to the reality star say she is trying very hard to convince Odom to go to rehab, but he won't budge.

Per the report, the former Lakers star has agreed to go to physical rehab, but refuses to address his demons with drugs and alcohol.

Odom's own loved ones have also helped out, trying to convince him to seek help due to the history of addiction in his family. Thus far, the towering former NBA star has refused to listen, even after Kardashian suggested an out-patient program, according to TMZ.

Considering Odom sustained a near-fatal overdose at a Nevada brothel in October -- just five months ago -- the fact that he's returned to drinking is obviously a concern.

Patrons and workers at the Johnny O'Brien pub in Sherman Oaks, Calif., told TMZ that the former NBA star came in and had three Remy Martin drinks early into Easter Sunday.

There is obvious concern that his drinking could lead him back to rampant drug use, which is what nearly cost him his life in Nevada. Kardashian has been by his side throughout his ups and downs over the last few months, but Odom is taking a dark turn after taking tremendous strides in his rehab.

Odom has made it known that he wants Kardashian back romantically, but thus far the "Kocktails with Khloe" host has stayed strong and continued to attempt to repair their friendship.

If the NBA star continues to drink, he's not only harming himself, but his chances of rekindling his romance with the reality star.

He's refusing help for now, but Kardashian has worked her magic with him before. Maybe she'll be able to do it again.
