Deontay Wilder Vs. Wladimir Klitschko? Tyson Fury Fight Possible, Adrien Broner Impressed By 'Bronze Bomber' [VIDEO]

On the undercard of Bernard Hopkins' fight with Karo Murat in Atlantic City, American heavyweight boxer Deontay Wilder dispatched his 30th professional opponent the same way he dealt with the previous 29-knocking him out.

Wilder, nicknamed the "Bronze Bomber," is the next great American hope in the heavyweight division, and is rapidly hurtling toward a fight with Wladimir Klitschko. Wilder made a fan of notoriously difficult-to-impress Adrien Broner with his fourth round KO of Nicolai Firtha last Saturday.

"He's [Deontay] got a great future. He's doing great things. 30-0 with 30 knockouts, his record speaks for itself, and of course all the fans love knockouts," Broner said.

While a fight with Wladimir Klitschko may be too tall a task for Wilder at this point, literally and figuratively, the Bronze Bomber seems to have set his sights on Tyson Fury.

"The fight between me and Tyson Fury will definitely happen one day soon. The hype has been building like it's been planned and once it gets to the peak where it's an absolute must that fight's going to happen," Wilder said.

Wilder's call-out of Fury was more respectful than this sort of thing tends to go in boxing, though. He was complimentary of his fellow rising star.

"When that fight happens we want it to be the best fight in the history of boxing. Two guys from two different parts of the world coming together for one night for the fans - I think it's going to be a great fight when that time comes for both of us. We're both two exciting heavyweights in the division and the fight would be great."

In a release from Box Nation prior to Wilder's clash with Firtha, they proclaimed him the next heavyweight champ. "Deontay Wilder is the next heavyweight champion of the world - the next undisputed heavyweight champion of the world. I feel the heavyweight division will be restored, these things move in cycles."

The release even claimed Wladimir and his brother Vitali have weaknesses that can be exploited.

Everybody has weaknesses - the Klitschko's have weaknesses as well too. It's just up to fighters to find them when they're in the ring. It's always shorter fighters fighting them - that's one thing I don't understand - but when the shorter fighters are in the ring with them their whole objective is to get in the inside and try and throw overhands. You can't just have one plan when going in with them."
