Jay Cutler and Kristin Cavallari are married with three children, but the couple may take steps to ensure they don't have any others.

The Bears quarterback and his television personality wife have two sons, Camden and Jaxon, and a daughter, Saylor, who was born in November 2015. Apparently, they want to stop at three children.

In order to make sure they don't have a fourth kid, Cutler may get a vasectomy. As the former "The Hills" star sees it, it's only fair for the Bears quarterback to get the procedure since she's pushed three children out.

"Oh, we'll see," Cavallari told Maria Menounos on her SiriusXM Radio show about a possible vasectomy for her husband. "My philosophy is: we have to push the babies out. We are the ones that have to go through everything, so you can do one little thing and get snipped. I've pushed three babies out of the 'ol hoo-ha, I've done enough."

The couple has been through a lot of ups and downs together.

Cutler and Cavallari got engaged in April 2011, but they called it off that July. Eventually, they reconciled that November and were married on June 7, 2013.

In her new book, "Balancing in Heels: My Journey to Health, Happiness, and Making it all Work," Cavallari revealed what led to her cold feet initially.

"I always go after what I want in life, with men or otherwise, and I never settle," Cavallari dishes in her book, according to Terez Owens. "If something doesn't feel right, I act on it. It's just who I've always been."

Cavallari did act on it to show Cutler she was serious, but she eventually decided to get back with the quarterback. Now, that decision could very well lead to him getting snipped.

At least they were able to work things out, even if it came at a cost.
