The WWE is close to overcoming its rash of injuries as one of its biggest Superstars is gearing up for a return.

Randy Orton has been sidelined since sustaining a shoulder injury in October, but he is closing in on a comeback.

According to a tweet by Fox Sports Radio 1340 in Washington, D.C., Orton is slated to return to action in April, likely after WrestleMania 32. Here are potential rivals for the "Apex Predator" upon his comeback.

1) Bray Wyatt

There are apparently big things in store for the "Eater of Worlds" and his Wyatt Family stable after WrestleMania, despite the WWE not going through with his match against Brock Lesnar at the "Show of Shows." Wyatt is expected to pursue programs with Roman Reigns and "The Beast" after WrestleMania, but he could get a tune-up by facing a veteran in Orton first. After all, "The Viper" was feuding with Wyatt and his brood prior to the injury and never received any closure to the rivalry.

2) Brock Lesnar

On paper, Orton seems to have the best offensive arsenal to counter "The Beast." The 12-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion has the type of striking blows that could give him a believable chance at matching up with Lesnar. Between his RKO (out of nowhere, of course), kick to the head and through the ropes DDT, Orton would make quite the foe for Paul Heyman's client.

3) AJ Styles

Since Orton has been gone, "The Phenomenal One" burst onto the scene and has forged a rivalry and a brief partnership with Chris Jericho. Styles will eventually need a new opponent, and since he was the face of TNA, he could take on one of the longest-tenured veterans in the WWE in Orton. A spot seeing Orton reverse the Phenomenal Elbow into an RKO in midair would be a must.

4) Dean Ambrose

The "Lunatic Fringe" has been given quite the showcase lately, having a great match with Triple H at Roadblock and now setting his sights on Lesnar at WrestleMania 32 in a Street Fight. If Ambrose needs to keep his momentum by taking on top names after the "Show of Shows" is over, it would make sense for him and Orton to renew their acquaintances, though one of them would likely have to turn heel.

5) Roman Reigns

These two have battled it out before, but something seems fishy about the WrestleMania main event. It's hard to see the WWE going all-in on Reigns capturing the WWE World Heavyweight Championship from Triple H when they fully know how the fans will react to it. It seems like a swerve could be in the air, and with Orton reportedly healthy enough for an April return, it's possible he could make his comeback at WrestleMania, realign himself with "The Game" and cost Reigns the belt to spark a feud.

Who should Randy Orton feud with when he returns to WWE?
