AJ McCarron and his wife Katherine Webb-McCarron are very, very close to welcoming their son into the world.

The Bengals backup quarterback tied the knot with the model in July 2014, and the couple announced on Instagram in December that they were four months pregnant with a baby boy. Now, Webb is nearly eight months into her pregnancy and it's really starting to show.

Miss Alabama USA 2012 took to her official Instagram account on Wednesday and shared a photo of her baby bump, displaying fully just how close she is to giving birth:

The couple was thrilled to share the news of Webb's pregnancy with the world back in December.

"AJ and I feel beyond blessed and grateful to finally announce after 4 months we have been keeping a secret! We are having a boy," Katherine wrote on Instagram at the time.

While they certainly have baby fever, this past year hasn't been all roses for the happy couple. Webb went on a Twitter tirade back in October after her husband's penis was shown on television during a locker room interview with another Bengals player after a game.

They also had a friendly disagreement over which college team their children will eventually support.

In a video posted back in November, McCarron said "Roll Tide," referencing his Alabama alma mater when asked about which program his children would root for, while Webb chose her former school, Auburn, to which her husband said "awful."

It seems, however, there will be a compromise.

"I'd prefer to let our kids choose where they want to go," Webb said in an interview for Coca-Cola Zero college football Rivalry Week in November. "Because [AJ] had the choice. He wanted to go to Miami, but he decided on Alabama."

McCarron, who appeared in seven games, started three and had a 66.4 completion percentage with 856 yards six touchdowns and two interceptions in the regular season and made his playoffs debut in a loss for the Bengals, also said money will be a motivator.

"At the same time, if they're blessed enough to receive a scholarship offer whether it's for school or athletics," McCarron said, "we're gonna also be fans of whoever's help paying for their school."

With the baby on the way, those decisions are almost a reality.
