It's no secret that Matt Barnes can't stand his former teammate Derek Fisher, but Thursday he reportedly channeled his anger toward someone else.

The Grizzlies forward and Bucks reserve forward John Henson were both ejected with 5.5 seconds remaining in the game between the teams, which Milwaukee won, 96-86. After Henson blocked a Barnes layup, he stared at the Grizzlies' forward, leading to an argument between the two.

The referees hit both men with double technicals, and Henson made a scene before exiting toward the locker room, taking off his jersey and throwing it into the stands, while trying to get the crowd pumped up. Barnes followed Henson through the same concourse and there were multiple reports he chased him looking for a fight.

Grizzlies center Ryan Hollins actually defended Henson after the game.

"That's not the type of kid that John is," Hollins said, according to ABC7.com. "He's a really great kid, a shot blocker. I thought he played great tonight. So maybe it was just those emotions coming out. That's not his personality. Hopefully, no one loses any money over something that silly."

Though there were multiple reports indicating Barnes chased after Henson and was trying to fight him, sources indicate that was not the case, according to TMZ. The NBA is reviewing the claims, but sources told the affiliate that Barnes walked to his own locker room and no chase occurred.

However, if it did happen, it wouldn't mark the first time Barnes' anger got the better of him.

Barnes engaged in a physical altercation with Fisher, his former teammate, after the Grizzlies player learned the ex-Knicks coach started a relationship with his ex-wife, "Basketball Wives: L.A." star Gloria Govan. Upon learning that Fisher was at a party Govan was hosting, Barnes drove there and allegedly struck him.

Not one to forgive and forget, Barnes intimated earlier this year that he wanted another altercation with his former friend.

"I know I got to keep my mouth shut because then he'll run and tell," Barnes said about Fisher in January during the lead up to a Grizzlies-Knicks game via The New York Daily News prior to Fisher's firing. "So we're focused on playing that team [the Knicks]. And when I'm retired, him and I will cross paths again."

Thursday, his anger may have been focused elsewhere.
