Floyd Mayweather Jr. has already retired, but most fans and boxing pundits are still convinced that the former pound-for-pound king will fight again to improve his already-impressive record.

And during an interview with On The Ropes Boxing Radio, Floyd Mayweather Sr. hinted that his son could reconsider his decision and unretire, mentioning Manny Pacquiao and Danny Garcia as possible opponents.

The younger Mayweather, who retired after winning against Andre Berto in September last year, is being linked to a rematch with Pacquiao, who took a unanimous decision loss to the unbeaten world champion in their record-setting showdown in May last year.

Pacquiao also announced recently that he will retire after his third fight with Timothy Bradley on April 9 in Las Vegas, but he and his camp have been very vocal about their willingness to delay retirement plans if they can secure a rematch with Mayweather.

The elder Mayweather said that they are aware of Pacquiao's desire to get another crack at his son. Mayweather Sr. said that the Filipino boxing icon could get his wish, but he is quite sure his son will emerge victorious again.

"The only thing good there is Floyd's gonna whoop his ass where he can get enough money to go about his business and sit his ass down somewhere," Mayweather Sr. said. "That's a real simple fight for Floyd. It's been a long time coming and it came, and when it came, Pacquiao got it. And guess what? Pacquiao can get it again."

Mayweather Sr. also mentioned Garcia as a possible opponent for his son. Earlier this year, Mayweather Jr. sounded interested in facing Garcia. The 49-0 superstar said that Garcia is a worthy opponent because of his 32-0 record and added that the reigning World Boxing Council welterweight champion could be compared to Felix Trinidad.

"It would be good for me to come back for number 50 and fight the undefeated Danny Garcia, you know, at the MGM Grand," Mayweather told Fighthype. "You know, since Danny Garcia is undefeated and he's very explosive, he's a very good fighter, and he really represents Puerto Rico the same way that Trinidad did."

Garcia, who is also a former super lightweight world champion, won the WBC welterweight title via a unanimous decision win against Robert Guerrero in January. The 27-year-old champion is mandated to defend the title against Amir Khan, but the British superstar opted to face Saul "Canelo" Alvarez on May 7 in Las Vegas.
