The Kardashians are better at being famous for no good reason than they are at backtracking.

Khloe Kardashian created a buzz on her "Kocktails with Khloe" show earlier this week when she discussed celebrities publicly taking celibacy vows.

Specifically, the reality star mentioned Ciara and Russell Wilson and intimated that the pair only went public with their abstinence as a way to gain publicity from it.

"There's this trend that's going on in Hollywood right now," Kardashian said on the show. "It's the vow of celibacy."

She then went on to talk about how the Seahawks quarterback and R&B singer are a fine example of a power couple going public with their no sex before marriage pledge.

"With all due respect to Ciara, she has a baby," Kardashian said. "It's not like we don't know if she's a virgin or not. None of us would know about it if they weren't publicly telling us that they are practicing celibacy. So who are you trying to prove this to? Is it a look?"

After the clip started to get a lot of play, Kardashian felt the need to clarify her comments via social media.

The "Dance Like We're Making Love" singer has yet to publicly respond to the remarks, but it will be interesting to see if she or Wilson weigh in on the issue. The two have been dating since last April and rumors of a pending engagement have followed them around constantly.

Kardashian, meanwhile, recently revealed she's looking for a new soul mate. Her relationship with James Harden went south after he cheated on her and the reality star has no inclinations of getting back together with her husband, Lamar Odom.

For now, she's busy trying to back her way out of a potential rivalry with Ciara.
