The Oilers and Wild are set to clash for the third of four meetings this season live from Xcel Energy Center in Minnesota.

Edmonton has lost two of its last three games, including a 3-0 loss to San Jose last time out on Tuesday. Minnesota, meanwhile, had a four-game winning streak snapped at the hands of St. Louis in its last game on Sunday.

In the prior two meetings, the Wild came out on top, earning a 4-3 victory in Minnesota on Oct. 27 and a 5-2 triumph in Edmonton on Feb. 18.

Taylor Hall has paced the Oilers this season with 22 goals, 35 assists and 57 points. He's slated to play on a top line that will be centered by rookie sensation Connor McDavid and flanked by Zack Kassian on the wing.

Mikko Koivu has led the Wild with 46 points this season, while Charlie Coyle has netted a team-best 21 goals. Those two team up with Zach Parise on the top line.

In the blue paint, Cam Talbot (16-23-4, 2.52 GAA, .919 save percentage) will start for Edmonton, while Minnesota counters with Darcy Kuemper (6-4-5. 2.24, .922).

The Wild enter play two points behind the Avalanche for the final wild card spot in the Western Conference, while the Oilers are on the bottom of the conference standings.
