Colin Kaepernick may be getting his wish as the 49ers inch closer to possibly trading him.

It won't be easy given the financial hurdles teams will have to clear to land the signal caller, but he has made it evident he wants out of San Francisco.

The teams vying to possibly acquire the signal caller despite his injury-plagued, under-performing season include the Broncos, Browns and Jets, according to ESPN.

Kaepernick, 28, had surgeries on his left shoulder, right thumb and left knee last season and is coming off of a campaign where he completed 59 percent of his passes while throwing for 1,615 yards with six touchdowns and five interceptions.

Here is a ranking of the three teams that are in on Kaepernick:

3) Browns

Cleveland still has that little matter of getting rid of embattled quarterback Johnny Manziel, but it may not exactly be where Kaepernick wants to end up. The Browns are coming off of yet another disastrous season, in which they finished 3-13.

Kaepernick is trying to revert back to his successful beginnings when he made back-to-back NFC Championship Game trips in 2012 and 2013, but given the Browns have missed the postseason every year since 2002, it will be a tough road.

2) Jets

Putting aside the fact that his girlfriend lives in New York, there are other reasons the signal caller could fit in with Gang Green. One massive deterrent though is that Tom Brady and the Patriots own the division, so the Jets always have to attempt to claw their way to a playoff berth.

New York was a surprise in 2015, going 10-6, but it still wasn't good enough to get into the playoffs. With the contract talks between the Jets and Ryan Fitzpatrick hitting a snag, Kaepernick could potentially thrive with the myriad weapons the Jets have on offense even if some of them (ahem, Brandon Marshall) don't necessarily want him there.

1) Broncos

It's not very often that a team wins the Super Bowl and has a vacancy at the sport's most important position, but lo and behold that's exactly the situation in Denver. With Peyton Manning retiring and Brock Osweiler bolting for the Titans and a ridiculous amount of money, Kaepernick could find himself playing for the defending champions. That's easily his most compelling option.

Given that Manning led the team to a Super Bowl 50 victory without throwing a single touchdown pass, this team is capable of anything. On the other side of the ball, Denver ranked first in the NFL in total defense, so Kaepernick wouldn't have to worry about falling behind too much.
