Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom may not be getting set to live happily ever after.

Ever since the reality star opted to put a hold on their divorce proceedings to support her estranged husband emotionally and financially, a romantic reunion seemed inevitable.

When the two-time NBA champion made a miraculous recovery from his near-fatal overdose in a Nevada brothel in October, the couple only appeared to be growing even closer.

Kardashian and Odom have been spotted out together in public on several occasions recently, leading many people to believe it was only a matter of time before they rekindled their romance. Adding to the speculation, the "Kocktails with Khloe" star even revealed that her relationship with James Harden had come to an end.

All the ingredients are there for a reunion, right? Not so fast.

As it turns out, Odom tried to convince Kardashian to renew their vows, but the newly-minted author balked at the proposal. She also plans to get the divorce proceedings resuming again soon as she hunts down a new soul mate.

"Lamar recently proposed again, saying they should have a marriage vow renewal," a source told Life & Style. "Khloe said no. [She] just can't forget that Lamar cheated on her throughout their relationship. Khloe plans to reactivate the divorce and then find the right, trustworthy man to marry."

That is some great strength on the part of the reality star. Kardashian has been cheated on time and time again and has even admitted in the past that Odom was unfaithful to her.

In fact, her most recent relationship with Harden came to an end because he strayed from her despite pushing for a monogamous relationship. Though she's single, Kardashian doesn't appear to be in any rush to get back with Odom, whose demons put him into a comatose state to begin with.

While Kardashian has displayed amazing loyalty by staying by her husband's side, it's understandable why she would hesitate at throwing herself back into things again after the tumultuous past they've shared.
