Carrie Underwood was beaming with pride Thursday as her husband prepared to reach an amazing milestone.

Predators forward Mike Fisher suited up for his 1,000th NHL game as the club hosted the Devils at the Bridgestone Arena. It was quite the accomplishment for the former second-round draft pick.

Fisher, 35, spent the bulk of his career with the Senators, but has been with the Predators for the last six seasons. Underwood fired off a tweet praising her husband on his meaningful game.

The center was kept off the scoresheet in his 1,000th game, but he registered two shots on goal during 14:09 of ice time. Though the country singer was boasting about the accomplishment, Adam Henrique played spoiler, leading the Devils to a 5-4 win with his overtime goal.

The Predators (32-21-12, 76 points) are still in good shape, holding on to the top spot in the Western Conference's wild card race.

Underwood's praising didn't stop there. The "Jesus, Take The Wheel" singer also took to Instagram to post about her "hot hot hot" husband:

Though Nashville lost, it's quite obvious Fisher is one lucky dude.

Not only does he have a gorgeous, supportive wife, but he's had an amazing NHL career, posting 253 goals, 283 assists and 536 points through 1,000 games.
