LeBron James doesn't care about any of the backash he received for returning to Miami and working out with potential postseason foe Dwyane Wade.

The Cavaliers star was seen in a video working out alongside his former teammate, with whom he won two NBA titles with. Cleveland had two straight off days and James used them to fly to Miami.

When he returned, he was faced with a lot of criticism. The Cavaliers are the top seed in the Eastern Conference, while the Heat sits in the No. 4 position.

Though there's a great chance these teams could meet this spring in the playoffs, James wanted nothing to do with the backlash.

"I don't care," James said after practice Thursday, according to ESPN. "What do I go there for? Go there 'cause I want to," James said. "I would love to go to L.A., but I'll take 2½ [hour flight] over 4½. I've got a house in L.A., but it makes more sense for me to go South than go West. But I go because I want to."

James also made reference to his work ethic, saying he is always the last to leave the gym, he can go wherever he wants and he arrived back in Cleveland two hours before practice.

The four-time NBA MVP also took to Twitter to throw some more shade at people criticizing his trip:
