It's very fitting that the name of the next WWE Network special is Roadblock, because that's exactly what the creative team has served as in Bray Wyatt's development.
There were rumors circulating that the WWE was finally going to take The Wyatt Family stable seriously, heading into a match between Bray Wyatt and Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 32. That hasn't happened at all.
WWE Superstar Wants To See Sting vs. Undertaker
The booking for the group has been unbelievably bad lately. At Fastlane, it was expected they would continue their warpath against giants and take Lesnar out in the main event.
Insted, the Wyatts lost to Big Show, Kane and Ryback (while simultaneously losing their heat) and were never seen again that night.
Potential WrestleMania Opponents For Sami Zayn
It was revealed by the WWE with very little buildup and even less fanfare that Bray Wyatt will battle Lesnar at Roadblock on March 12 in Toronto. Rather than have a huge program with Lesnar, Wyatt will serve as fodder for "The Beast" as he looks to generate momentum heading into WrestleMania.
Given the fact that Lesnar has a huge match against Dean Ambrose on April 3, while Wyatt's plans for the "Show of Shows" remain a mystery, the outcome to this match appears obvious.
Instead of what could have been a high-profile, long drawn out feud to generate buzz for The Wyatt Family, the WWE has given barely more than one-week's worth of buildup to his clash with Lesnar.
A clash he'll undoutbedly lose. WWE Roadblock, indeed.
