Lamar Odom may have James Harden to thank for what could lead to Khloe Kardashian renewing her marriage vows with him.

The reality star revealed on "Kocktails with Khloe" that her previous relationship ended after the Rockets guard insisted on a monogamous relationship only to cheat on her.

Lamar Odom Seen In Public Without A Kardashian

"I've always said, we don't need to be monogamous," Kardashian said. "...Let's just see each other when we see each other."

Kardashian added she tried to be "realistic" due to her taking on so many projects and Harden living in Houston, but the four-time NBA All-Star was insistent they commit to each other.

"He sought me out, he wanted to be committed," Kardashian said, "... then wasn't committed."

After months of speculation surrounded a potential breakup, Kardashian finally opened up about why things eventually crumbled. The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star didn't get into specifics, but revealed she had the "receipts to prove" Harden cheated.

Harden's loss may be Odom's gain. Kardashian and the two-time NBA champion have remained close after nearly getting a divorce prior to Odom's near-fatal overdose at a Nevada brothel in October.

Not only did she halt their divorce, but Kardashian also hinted on her show when talking to Carmen Electra that she'd be willing to marry Odom all over again.

"Well technically I'm still f--king married," she said. "But I do one day, honey -- I need to get married again. Listen, at this point, I don't know what tomorrow is going to bring -- I've learned that."

For now, Odom and Kardashian are slowly getting into the swing of things, but he seems to have a better shot at holding onto her than Harden did.

"I hope so," Kardashian said about starting over. "I mean, that would be like the best dream ... like, okay, I hope that first marriage could happen again, but it's really hard to erase everything that happened. Just building a friendship back is what I'm doing now, it has nothing intimately, nothing at all, just pure love, and I want someone to learn how to love themselves again."
