Paige may be a two-time Divas Champion, but it doesn't mean she loved carrying the title around.

The Norwich, England native recently opened up about her thoughts on the Divas Championship and the term "Diva" in general.

Young Fan Has Epic Reaction After Learning Paige Got Engaged

While a lot of people rail on the term "Diva" instead of calling the women wrestlers ... well ... women wrestlers, Paige said she takes pride in the term, though she isn't on board with the Divas Championship's butterfly design.

"When you think about a WWE Diva, you think of us girls in WWE, not like the girls that are in the Indies, the girls in TNA or in other different companies," Paige said via 411 Mania. "So yeah, the word Diva means a lot to me. Just redesign the Diva belt, because that butterfly sucks."

Projected Card For WWE WrestleMania 32

Paige may not have to worry about the design because it's been a long time since she's held the title. Paige hasn't been champion since August 2014 and lately, her booking has left a lot to be desired.

The Diva's former PCB stablemate Charlotte has held the gold since September after knocking off Nikki Bella and ending her record 301-day reign with it. Paige was booked to lose to Summer Rae last week on RAW and was also held off the Fastlane card, so her standing has been suspect lately.

Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch look to be the next big contenders for the title, while Paige has been in a bit of a holding pattern in WWE storylines recently.
