The NHL continues its rich history of outdoor games by presenting the 2016 Stadium Series.

The Blackhawks and Wild will take their Central Division rivalry outdoors live from TCF Bank Stadium in Minnesota. Both teams enter this game on the back of winning streaks as Chicago has won its last two contests, while Minnesota has taken its last three.

Twitter Reacts To Blackhawks Stadium Series Jerseys

The defending Stanley Cup champion Blackhawks enter this game on top of the division with the most wins (38) and points (81) in the Western Conference. The Wild, which fired coach Mike Yeo last week and is playing under interim coach John Torchetti, are two points out of the final wild card spot in the west.

Minnesota has taken the previous two meetings this season from Chicago, but is likely still looking for revenge from the second-round sweep by its adversary in the playoffs last season.
