Timothy Bradley and his camp seem to be content with trying to shut Manny Pacquiao up in the ring.

Pacquiao generated a lot of backlash this week for controversial comments he made about homosexuals while campaigning for the Philippine Senate. Thus far, Bradley has yet to address his upcoming opponent's contentious actions.

"It's common sense," Pacquiao told TV5 network (via Sports Illustrated). "Do you see animals mating with the same sex? Animals are better because they can distinguish male from female. If men mate with men and women mate with women they are worse than animals."

Pacquiao then issued an apology Tuesday on his social media channels once he realized the outrage his comments quickly caused.

Manny Pacquiao Should Have Said 'No' To Timothy Bradley

Though Bradley and his camp haven't publicly addressed the statements yet, Floyd Mayweather jumped to the defense of all the people Pacquiao offended.

"I think we should all stay positive," Mayweather told TMZ "I feel that we should let people live their lives the way they want to live their lives. I have nothing against anyone. To each his own."

Following Pacquiao's terbulent words, Nike cut ties with the boxer, according to a tweet by ESPN's Darren Rovell.

The "Pac Man" is currently training to take on Bradley for the third time on April 9 in Las Vegas. This will be the rubber match as Bradley won via controversial split-decision in 2012 and Pacquiao took the rematch via unanimous decision in 2014, ending his opponent's undefeated streak.

The WBO welterweight title will once again be on the line in what is supposed to be Pacquiao's final fight. He'll enter his swansong on the heels of plenty of controversy.
