One of the better developments for the WWE Divas recently was the pairing of Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch -- and "The Boss" is making it even better.

Since her split from Team B.A.D., Banks has gone out of her way to publicly display her hesitation at pairing up with Lynch, despite the alliance looking formidable on paper.

Making this buzz worthy tandem even better, the "Lass Kicker" is playing the babyface role to a tee, while Banks continues to make it known she's a reluctant partner.

The former NXT Women's Champion saved Lynch from a beat down at the hands of Naomi and Tamina two weeks ago after making it known on commentary she's only teaming up with the Ireland native due to a lack of other options.

This week on RAW, history repeated itself when Lynch was being taken out by her two adversaries again, only for Banks to come in and make the save. "The Boss" clearly takes her character to heart and took a not-so-subtle dig at Lynch on Twitter after getting her out of the fire yet again:

Banks and Lynch are two of the best in-ring Divas on the entire WWE roster, so their pairing was a brilliant move by the company. They'll get to show what they can do at Fastlane this Sunday when they battle Naomi and Tamina at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland where the storyline is sure to reach its apex.

The drama undercutting the match is the best part, with Banks basically treating Lynch like the Marty Jannetty of the group before they even officially team together for a match. Jannetty's career of course flamed out spectacularly, while his Rockers tag partner Shawn Michaels became one of the best Superstars in history and went into the Hall of Fame.

We can only hope this is all leading to a Divas Championship coronation for Banks or Lynch at their very first WrestleMania on April 3.
