River Plate returns to the pitch, visiting Belgrano on Sunday.
Los Millonarios -- after waiting an extra day due to extreme weather -- dismantled Quilmes in Week 1. The 5-1 victory reasserted the club's position atop Argentine football, this despite not even being crowned league champions in 2015.
Success in the Copa Libertadores still looms large in Buenos Aires.
Independiente didn't fair as well in their season opener. The club fell to Independiente 1-0 on the road.

What They're Saying
Belgrano manager Ricardo Zielinski (via Ole): "We have to be aggressive [against River Plate] because if you try and defend, things aren't going to go well. We deserved to win against Independiente because we were the better side, so we have to keep following that path. We have to correct our mistakes, of course."
River Plate manager Marcelo Gallardo (via Arg Noticias): "I'm going to reveal my starting lineup [on Sunday], but there are a lot of options. We're going to give Andres D'Alessandro a chance to play since he is in good physical shape."
